An invitation to heal and offer yourself love and care

Hypnotherapy: like a guided meditation, with space to speak and be guided

Hypnosis is a very relaxed state.

It is the same state we enter when we listen to a guided meditation. The body softens. The nervous system settles. Human-made time seems to fade, and we begin a journey inward.

In guided meditation, we consciously choose to be guided. We put on our headset, listen to a voice, and allow ourselves to follow it — to visualize, to notice sensations, to acknowledge thoughts and our inner voice.

Hypnotherapy works in exactly the same way.

You choose to be there. You choose to listen. You choose to be guided.

And most importantly, you choose how open you want to be to what arises.

When you consciously choose to be open — welcoming whatever comes up as it comes, without judgment — you are choosing to enter a conversation with your subconscious. This conversation can bring guidance, answers, and clarity around the inner blocks that live within you.

Hypnotherapy is very similar to listening to a guided meditation, with one key difference.

When you listen to a guided meditation at home, what arises stays within you in that moment. You might choose to journal or record yourself afterward — once the audio is complete and you are no longer in the same relaxed state. In hypnotherapy, you are invited — if you choose — to speak out loud what comes up in that precise moment, allowing the process to unfold with guidance and support.

You are having a conversation with your subconscious, and the hypnotherapist is there to hold space for that conversation. Their role is to walk alongside you, holding a lantern and softly illuminating the way as you take each step and continue your conversation, your journey with your subconscious.

It is in this relaxed, safe state that inner parts of us can finally speak. Parts that may be wounded, hidden, or silenced. Parts that carry unmet needs or old beliefs about self-worth and self-love — which, to me, lie at the heart of inner healing and personal growth.

When we struggle with self-worth, it is often because these parts are still waiting to be seen, heard, acknowledged by us and eventually healed by giving them what they need (love, safety, …).

Offering yourself a hypnotherapy session is, to me, an act of love toward yourself.

It is a yes to inner healing.

A yes to personal growth.

A yes to your own journey.

It is a also step toward trusting your intuition — even just a little more. And the more you trust what comes up, the easier, the more natural and effective the work becomes.

In choosing this space, you are creating room for the parts within you that cannot speak unless you slow down and listen. Parts that have been covered or hidden over time. Parts that hold the keys to healing and growth, longing to speak to you — to be heard and feel seen.

I’m currently offering hypnotherapy sessions that create space for clarity — clarity around how you feel, and around the different parts within you: emotional, intellectual, physical, spiritual.

These sessions are part of my ongoing training in hypnotherapy, which allows me to still offer them at a reduced rate.

One of my clients recently shared this after her session:

“Martina talked me through my hypnotherapy session, making me feel very safe and comfortable throughout. Her warmth and positivity were very reassuring before, during, and after the session.Since my session with Martina, I have been practising self-hypnosis every day, and I am already seeing an improvement in myself.”

As a hypnotherapist, my deepest intention is indeed to make you feel safe and supported throughout the entire process, so that a genuine, respectful conversation between you and your inner parts can unfold and you can eventually achieve your goals.

If you feel called to say yes to your journey, to offer yourself this precious time of inner clarity and self-care and self-love, I warmly invite you to book a hypnotherapy session with me.

With warmth,

Martina Vismara
