Healing from within: a conversation with your subconscious

Updated: Mar 7

Discover a safe, conscious practice to relax, uncover inner blocks, and support lasting change

Hypnosis is a very relaxed state. It is the same state we naturally enter when we listen to a guided meditation.

The body softens.

The nervous system settles.

Human-made time seems to fade, and we begin a journey inward.

When we listen to a guided meditation, we consciously choose to be guided. We put on our headset, listen to a voice, and allow ourselves to follow it — to visualize, to notice sensations, to acknowledge thoughts and our inner voice.

Hypnosis, when supported by a hypnotherapist within a hypnotherapy session, works in exactly the same way.

You choose to be there.

You choose to listen.

You choose to be guided.

And most importantly, you choose how open you want to be to what arises.

When you consciously choose to be open — welcoming whatever comes up as it comes, without judgment — you are choosing to enter a conversation with your subconscious.

This conversation can bring guidance, answers, and clarity around the inner blocks that live within you.

When you listen to a guided meditation at home, what arises often stays within you in that moment. You might choose to journal or reflect afterward — once the audio is complete and you are no longer in the same deeply relaxed state.

In hypnotherapy, you are invited — if you choose — to speak out loud what comes up in that precise moment, allowing the process to unfold with guidance and support.

You are having a live conversation with your subconscious, and the hypnotherapist is there to hold space for that conversation. Their role is not to lead or control the process, but to walk alongside you — holding a lantern and softly illuminating the way as you continue your inner journey.

It is in this relaxed, safe state — hypnosis — that inner parts of us can finally speak.

Parts that may be wounded, hidden, or silenced.Parts that carry unmet needs or old beliefs about self-worth, self-love, and safety — which, to me, lie at the heart of inner healing and personal growth.

When we struggle in any of these areas, it is often because these parts are still waiting to be seen, heard, and acknowledged — and eventually healed by giving them what they truly need: safety, compassion, and love.

In this deeply relaxed state, hypnotherapy allows not only for listening and holding space for what wants to be expressed, but also for consciously offering the subconscious new, empowering beliefs. Beliefs that gently replace old, limiting narratives around self-worth, safety, and love. When the body feels safe and the mind is quiet, the subconscious becomes more open and receptive, allowing these new perspectives to be integrated in a natural, respectful way — without force, and always guided by what feels right for you.

Offering yourself a hypnotherapy session is, to me, an act of love toward yourself.

A yes to inner healing.

A yes to personal growth.

A yes to your own journey.

It is also a step toward trusting your intuition — even just a little more. And the more you trust what comes up, the easier, more natural, and more effective this inner work becomes.

In choosing this space, you are creating room for the parts within you that cannot speak unless you slow down and listen. Parts that may have been covered or hidden over time. Parts that hold the keys to healing and growth, longing to be heard and seen.

As part of my ongoing hypnotherapy training, I’m currently offering free, online 90-minute practice sessions. During our time together, you’ll experience a relaxed and calm state of mind, connection with your intuition, clarity, and the possibility of shifting limiting beliefs — always at your own pace and always in full control.

Generally speaking, this session is an opportunity to gain clarity around how various parts of you (emotional, intellectual, physical, and spiritual) are currently feeling.

One of my clients recently shared this after her session:

“Martina talked me through my hypnotherapy session, making me feel very safe and comfortable throughout. Her warmth and positivity were very reassuring before, during, and after the session.Since my session with Martina, I have been practising self-hypnosis every day, and I am already seeing an improvement in myself.”

As a hypnotherapist, my deepest intention is to make you feel safe and supported throughout the entire process — so that a genuine, respectful conversation between you and your inner parts can unfold, and you can move toward your goals in a way that feels aligned and empowering.

If you feel called to say yes to your journey — to offer yourself this precious time of inner clarity, self-care, and self-love — I warmly invite you to book a hypnotherapy session with me.

Take care,

Martina
